What's interesting is that, except for the Hackacon Cebu, all the events seem to make it a point of not being commercialized e.g. not having corporate sponsors. This is a good thing since it was the biggest gripe against ManilaCon. Hopefully the PUOSUC pushes through. I won't be attending the defconph event since it's going to be held in Cebu and I'm not about to spend for airfare for a half-day event. Same goes for the Hackacon event.
